PoWeR! stands for Play, Write, Read
We are a 501(c)(3) that promotes language, literacy, and human interactions.
Through our programs, we provide under-resourced children and their families with research-proven tools to support playing, writing, and reading.
Since 2016, we have distributed
over 600,000 books AND over 100,000 PoWeR! Literacy Tool Bags to children in Northern Lower Michigan.
Each book and PoWeR! Bag invites children to play, write, and read, empowering them to develop knowledge, skills, dispositions, and attitudes to positively impact their current and future selves. This sets them up for lifelong success!
